"Jeff Olah has become a leading voice in the post-apocalyptic genre by writing spine-snapping action scenes and compelling characters fighting to survive at the end of the world." - Nicholas Sansbury Smith, USA Today Bestselling Author
Post-traumatic stress and obsessive-compulsive disorder never play well together, but when locked inside a man with nothing left to lose, the results are often catastrophic.
Travis Higgins is a man on his way down. He can’t sleep. He hasn’t eaten in forty-eight hours and hasn’t spoken a word to another human being in weeks.
Twelve months ago the voices in his head began to scream… and tonight, he’s planning to finally put them to rest.
“Nine-one-one operator. What is your emergency?”
“My name is Travis Higgins. In exactly six minutes, I am going to murder the man who lives at nineteen-thirty-seven east Second Street.”
INTENT A Short Story eBook Jeff Olah
First I hate short stories, they always leave me scratching my head because something is missing, or wanting the next three hundred pages. But I loved this, the character was very strong and defined, the story was told to perfection and my heart broke just a little.
Something very different from Jeff and I would love to read other things like this.

INTENT A Short Story eBook Jeff Olah Reviews
This little story is intense, well-written, and captivating. I've read it a couple times and I liked it the second time around as much as the first. Olah is able to tell a great story!
I wanted to like this short story, because I like a lot of Jeff's other book, but this is a tale that's been told so many times, and there was nothing new here. It's basically your average revenge plot. I'd recommend this author, but not this story. 2 1/2 stars, rounded up to 3.
Great book
Intent by Jeff Olah was a very short story but very poignant. I am once again impressed.
Enjoyed this short story, my type of stories I enjoy reading as the story line is a strong probability of true events.
Very suspenseful short story, then previews of Jeff Olah’s other great books. I have read them all. You should too. You will be glad you did!
Travis Higgins is indeed a troubled man...Post Traumatic Stress mixed in with a heavy mix of OCD. Tonight he has a plan to rid himself of the voices in his head. Calling 911 he gives the operator the exact location where he will commit the crime.
A nice twist at the end of this one...
Highly recommended.
